Mighty to Save

Earlier in the week Daniel and Timothy went to a library event featuring The Emperor's New Clothes. They wanted a picture of their crowns. Yes, Daniel chose pink. That is his favorite color, but he only reveals that to very few people. We do worry about it a wee bit, but I'm sure it doesn't indicate anything out of the ordinary. Right? Feel free to reassure me that many boys like pink. Sorry that the kitchen and dining room table are in disarray. Life is messy.

We still don't have flash, so all these pictures are too dark; my hair usually isn't nearly black.

These are lyrics to one of my favorite songs. Nice to dwell on for this Easter weekend.

MIGHTY TO SAVE - Hillsongs

Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.

Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Saviour;
The Hope of nations.

Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.

Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.

I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.

My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus (x2)

My Saviour, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

My Saviour, you can move the mountains,
You are mighty to save,
You are mighty to save.
Forever, Author of Salvation,
You rose and conquered the grave,
Yes you conquered the grave

Many boys like pink. :) Really there's nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't attach a stigma to it. Did you know that a century ago, baby colors were actually the opposite of what they are now? Blue was used for girls and pink for boys because "pink is such a strong color."

So no, I'm sure it doesn't mean anything.

NOT worried about the pink! My daughter's new favorite color is blue! Love the new haircut!

Happy Easter,
