Grateful

Grateful today. So grateful that our country is a peaceful one, and that our exchanges of power are not only cordial, but also honorable and inspiring.

Farewell, President Bush and First Lady Laura. Thank you for your service, your honor and character, and for putting our Lord first. Thank you for your willingness to acknowledge him, to all the world, as your Savior. Thank you for your incredible strength. Your strength is, above all else, proof to me that you love our Lord. Such strength can only come from Him.

My only regret from today is the booing President Bush received from some in the crowd. I know he is above that, and that he gets his affirmation from our Lord, but what a shame. What a grievous thing, to soil the beauty of the day. I so wish he could have been spared that.
