Hello

Hi, Blog Friends. My husband lost his job last week. I haven't been able to write about it; it's still too raw and the shock hasn't worn off. Besides, I don't want this blog to be a depressing one. Right now we're concentrating on looking for jobs and looking into how we can save our house and our credit.

i will be praying, pam. i also wanted to throw out tutor.com as a site to check-out. i work part-time with them tutoring on-line at home in the evenings (brings in a little extra to the house). either or both of you could do it. they do require tests in the area you decide to tutor in (elementary on up through intro college) and i would recommend you have some resource book with you when you do so. anyhow, if you want more info let me know or just check out www.tutor.com and look under the more tab for info on becoming a tutor. like i said i will be praying, and hard. hang in there

I will be praying. I know you are all heartbroken, but something will turn up.

So sorry, Pam. Knowing you're not alone is probably no comfort. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi Pam, I'm so sorry to hear about this most unwelcomed change. I will pray that the Lord will use this for good in ways that neither of us can even imagine right now.
Take care,
Liz

How does it go? "It's the character that's the strongest that the Lord gives the most challenges to." Probably not very comforting right now. I am praying for you too.
