Have you ever ordered dinner or something at a restaurant and been just a wee bit shocked at the bill? Okay, I mean like jaw-dropping shocked? Stephanie has a really funny (but painful) story about a recent continental breakfast. It brings back pre-child, newlywed memories for me. Best not to dwell on that era for too long. One could get weepy.

Thanks for the link! My hubby is still on holidays and as a treat (last one for a while!) we went out for supper at Red Lobster. I think you have them in the States, too? Anyway, it's not gourmet, but it is seafood, which is more expensive than your average burgers and fries, right? Well supper for the four of us (we didn't have dessert), was only $2 more than our fabulous continental breakfast. We found this amusing in a sad kinda way.... :)
