The Message

When your mind is going a mile a minute, kind of like a hamster on its wheel, it can be hard to drink in some Scripture. So tonight, I read a lot of Peterson's, The Message. It's the entire New Testament written in everyday language. I was amazed at how much of God's spirit penetrated my heart tonight, due to the sheer volume I was able to read. I wouldn't recommend it as a daily substitute, but it sure helps hamster brain, let me tell you.
